I particularly like the trailer for The Beast from 20000 Fathoms and 20 Million Miles to Earth; Soldier -"Recemtly we had a spaceship crash from Venus" Girl "Venus!?"Man-"The PLANET Venus??" I love that! Anyway, a cool collection great for a Halloween party or anyone who enjoys great horror movies of the 1930s,40,50s, and 60s.

This collection is for movies of the 1930s-1960s mostly. There are a lot of great movie ads, and some drive-in snack bar intermissions. See Bogart stroll into a library and ask librarian Lorren Bacall for a book as exciting as The Maltese Falcon. See ads for sequels to The Thin Man. See ads for The Wizard of Oz, Harvey,Secret Agent Fireball,and more! Get the popcorn!

(More customer reviews)Before movie trailers became super noisy with annoying lightning fast jump cut, they would advertise some of the best movies made ini the 40s,50, and 60s. The technique back then was to show a scene or 2, then some splash words would jump into the screen, like,"Never to be Forgotton!", "A Wild Romance!", "Filled with Action!", etc. These movies are famous and some are obscure, but the trailers are fun, often better than the actual movie!

(More customer reviews)Most of these compilations are good...but this one stands out in one big quality, the quality of the trailers is really good and so is the audio! That makes this miles above others! Most of the film trailers on other dvd's are grainy and the audio is as oversaturated as the film...you will be pleasantly surprised with this one! A must have for the horror fanatic!
