The Story of O Part II (1984) Review

The Story of O Part II (1984)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This 1984 film The Story of O Part II is often confused with the 1981 film The Fruits of Passion ( les fruits de la passion) with Klaus Kinski. The video on this amazon product page is a different foreign film that takes a stab at the Story of O character. It is also in many ways superior sequel to Fruits of Passion. It has never been release on DVD in the US so it is lesser known. Of course any sequel that attempts to continue the story of "O" won't live up to the original. However, the actress playing "O" here Sandra Wey is the best I've seen in any version other than the original "Story of O" with Corinne Clery. The story doesn't pick up exactly where the original left off. But it is a more realistic idea of what would or could happen to the female character of "O". Sandra Wey plays the updated "O" as an independent woman who is a sort of sexual mercenary. She uses her power of seduction to gain access to a prominent and wealthy family. Hired by a powerful corporation that will stop at nothing to black mail this wealthy business man. "O" finds a way into the family's secluded estate and then systematically begins to seduce each of the family members starting with the young naive daughter. Moving on to her brother, the father, and eventually even the wife. All in a bid to black mail and gain control of their empire.
The film has plenty of highly erotic and sexual charged scenes. It deals with sexual orientation and domination. Sexual taboo's are broken and the inner fantasies of each family member are laid bare to "O". The story has some interesting twist and turns with an intriguing and unpredictable ending.
Even if you're skeptical of a Story of "O" sequel (there are more than a few) I would give this one a chance before any other.

Virtual Sex with Briana Banks Review

Virtual Sex with Briana Banks

I don't understand why I like Briana's performance so much, because she's not really the kind of chick I usually go for. Too blond, tattoos, fake boobs. But her mannerisms and silk-smooth voice turn on something in me. I guess it's just the way she moves, the little gyrations and thrusts. An outstandingly enthusiastic performance.
As for the production values, nothing remarkable there. It's all about Briana. For me, surprisingly.

If you've ever watched Cinemax After Dark, you've seen this movie or one like it. Production value is high. Acting is on par for this style of movie. People are good looking. Sets are someone's multi-million dollar home. Lot's of simulated sex, full frontal female nudity & shower scenes. Pets & pornstars abound. Cheesy story line, but let's be honest, did we really buy this for an Oscar winning performance? My only question is this, 's the next one going to be released?

Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks Review

Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Dyanne Thorn returns in the storming sequel to "She Wolf", and it seems to have been given a budget boost, as the setting moves to an Arabian oils sheik's kingdom in the middle of the desert, where Ilsa presides over his palace as right hand security guard and keeper of his harem of kidnapped beauties. The film doen't quite match the excesses of the first film in bad taste, and the camp comedy elements have all been increased, but there are still many gruesome scenes as the harem women are abused and tortured for various reasons, including a pretty revolting sub-plot to assasinate the sheik by deploying a bomb placed inside a womans body that will detonate during sex! Uniform fans will be pleased to see Ilsa replendent in her khaki shorts and boots, but she does not have the same prescence as in the previous film because she is herself punished at one point by despotic sheik, and its a shame to see that the film recycles her weakness of falling in love with a hunky American, which once again leads to her downfall. However, this film is still pretty extreme, but with a slant more towards sexual perversions than violence, and without the Nazi theme of it's predecessor its a lot less sleazy and offensive. Still way outside of the mainstream, though (and a hell of a lot better than the third film "Ilsa Tigress of Siberia", which has a cracking first 30 minutes, but disappoints immediately afterwards). A recommended buy for fans of the first movie, as well as one for any cult enthusiast.

Terror on Tour (1983) Review

Terror on Tour (1983)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Before the infamous "Video Nasties" ruling of 1984, in which some of the most graphic and explicit low budget video titles of the preceding years were subjected to censorship and cuts from their pure original form by the powers that be, it almost seemed like anything went in the world of underground movies. 1980 was one of the scene's peak years; you had the notorious "Maniac," "Don't Go in the House," "Eyes of a Stranger," along with such Italian walking dead splatterfests as "Zombie."
One extremely obscure (and in some ways maybe deservedly so) entry of the slasher wave from that year and one that has been largely lost to time is Don Edmonds' "Terror on Tour." Edmonds had already established himself in the world of underground deviant cinema with such low budget schlock fests as the all but banned "Ilsa, She-Wolf of the S.S." (1974). So he was more than well acquainted with the form.
"Terror on Tour" concerns a fictional Kiss-like rock band known as the Clowns, who don costumes and face paint, making them all but indistinguishable from one another, and whose wild stage shows feature such delightful things as mannequins (all female) being chopped up and torn apart in mutilation-style. Unbeknownst to the band, someone is dressing up like one of the the Clowns' members and sadistically murdering their groupies back stage both during and after their concerts.
This film bears the dreaded "Unrated" classification and at times you can see why. There is rampant partying and drug use, such as smoking grass, doing lines, and popping ludes, so much so that one of the victims is identified in the closing credits simply as "freebase chick." And, then there's the stabbings and throat slittings of mostly bare-breasted backstage groupies. Suspicion points to one of the band's roadies, a socially inept loser unable to mingle with women who therefore is obsessed with applying the Clowns' make-up to get a taste of the action. At one point he peeks through a window in envy at one of the drugged-up band members getting it on with one of the groupies.
This film gets three stars from me for the explicitness and general spirit of rock 'n' roll abandon it possesses. That said, all of the groupies are portrayed as brainless and slutty and are indistinguishable from one another, so some more sensitive viewers will not like this platform or all the violence against women depicted here. In addition, all the actors are amateur or one step above it and there are no name players to be found.
Still, I'd love to see a long overdue DVD release of this. If such equally low budget entries as "Pieces" and "Nail Gun Massacre" can get lavish DVD treatment, then why can't this one? I have a 1985 Media Home Entertainment ex-rental VHS copy that I transferred onto DVD-r. I'd love to see this though without such crummy and grainy picture quality.
While not a great movie by any means, if you cherish the bygone days of the early video revolution and like your slasher movies sleazy, low budget and without morals, then "Terror on Tour" should satiate your fixation for a good 90 minutes or so.

I think everyone interested in the adult cinema should pick up this DVD, it's a great show. The story is not one of those typical non-sense sex-seeker one, and also the way they handle the sex scenes are very interesting. I love to see more from this studio, being an adult cinema fan sick of all the stupid X rated films.

Okay, this flick was good for a playboy movie...however it was boring. Plus, there was nothing "dangerous" about the sex. Plus the sex was terrible and considering that these people were supposed to be "couples" the sex looked fake. Don't waste your time or money on this one. Also, i use the word sex sparingly, because there was more kissing than anything else.

Vampire's Seduction (1998) Review

Vampire's Seduction (1998)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We've all done this. We drag our sorry butts out of bed at the crack of dawn to go to work, only to see our pet dog or cat peacefully snoozing away. "Who's the higher life form?" we mutter to ourselves. I felt the same way as I was watching "The Vampire's Seduction." While my partners and I spend hours arguing over the nuances of where to put a comma in our latest screenplay, I watch this shamelessly ad-libbed and utterly mindless lesbian teaser and wonder just who are the more intelligent filmmakers. Tina Krause is Dracula's Daughter, a stunning vampiress who spends her evenings cavorting topless in a smoke machine-enhanced forest. In what has to be the thinnest of plot devices ever, she coerces Wally Van Helsing, a bumbling geek and great-great grandson of the legendary vampire hunter, into seeking out gorgeous lesbians and bringing them back to her. Wally does a great job of finding them and watching as they fondle, grope, suckle and kiss in nearly naked splendor, but never once does he bring his prey back to his Mistress. Instead, he gives her a sandwich laced with garlic salt and she dies. The end.
Yes, it was absolutely as dumb as it sounds. But, and more importantly, the skin quotient is A) high and B) pretty damned steamy. There's a threesome scene, for example, which never goes beyond the topless stage, but it's far sweatier than the most explicit of hardcore tapes. "The Vampire's Seduction" contains no real horror or gothic element to speak of, its title notwithstanding. It's really pretty much just a teaser tape with humor that's dorky at best and irritating at worst. Still, I have to admit that if you know what you're getting, and now you do, this one was kinda yummy.

This product (the one with the central photo of a man and two women on a light blue background) is a complete rip-off. The DVD quality is so poor it is almost unwatchable. It is not anamorphic widescreen, so the image is very small on your screen. Do not buy this lemon (it may even be censored).

Greta - Haus ohne Männer (aka Ilsa, the Wicked Warden) (1979)
Average Reviews:

Ho boy, what to say about this? I admit to viewing this and the original Ilse movie out of curiosity...well, my curiosity has been satisfied. Of the two movies, this one is more everything. It's sexier, it has much more girl/girl doings, and it has longer sickening torture scenes in it. And the gross out ending should satisfy all who enjoy such things. The scary part is the fact that this is clearly meant to be entertainment, and that there are people who will be entertained by it.
I would dearly like to give this a one star rating...goodness knows I'm not likely to be recommending it to anyone. I even hesitate to let anyone know I've seen it. However, I am not one to pass moral judgments. Privately, I feel this movie should never have been made, but I don't have the right to decide what other people are able to see. So, I will allow it three stars, but with the warning to all that this is absolutely a gross out cult film.

Fast Lane to Malibu/Fast Lane to Vegas (Unrated) Review

Fast Lane to Malibu/Fast Lane to Vegas (Unrated)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Here are the plots for the two movies:
Fast Lane to Malibu. Brian has a fight with his girlfriend Monica (Renee Rea). Thinking she's through with him, he agrees to go to Malibu with his friend Zach. There's a sorority party there that's supposed to be a guaranteed weekend of eager, horny women. Monica finds out and convinces her friend Ashley (Tracy Ryan) to help her chase him down so she can tell him she still loves him.
Fast Lane to Vegas. Zach and Brian are headed to Las Vegas for Brian's wedding to Monica. Along the way they encounter many opportunities to have sex with beautiful women. In Las Vegas, Monica and Ashley have a couple of opportunities for their own bit of fun with a hotel employee and a male stripper.
That alone probably would have been good enough to make these above average softcore films, but the producers have also thrown in another little bit of fun. Throughout the films, there are several places where the characters are faced with a decision. The viewer gets to decide what they do. It's a good use of DVD technology and keeps things interesting.
The stories provide plenty of opportunity for numerous sex scenes and ample amounts of female skin.
In Malibu, there's a sexy hitchhiker (Stephanie Schwartz), the mechanic's horny wife (Susan Featherly), and two hot female cops (Kira Reed and Nikki Fritz). There are nine sex scenes. Five are boy/girl, one is boy/girl/boy/girl, two are girl/girl, and one is girl solo. In addition, there is a nice shower scene with Renee and a wet t-shirt contest that Renee and Tracy participate in. All the women are super hot and give great performances. The music is a little too loud, but you can still hear the sounds of the actors during the sex scenes.
In Vegas, there are nine sex scenes. Five are boy/girl, two are boy/girl/girl, one is boy/girl/boy/girl, and one is girl solo. I thought all but one of the sex scenes were very good. The other one was just decent, mostly because the two girls were just phoning in their parts. The women include A list stars like Renee, Tracy, Mia Zottoli, Sasha Rochelle, and Flower Edwards. The rest of the women are plenty attractive, just not in the same league as those five. All the sex scenes play out to completion, and you can hear the sounds of the actors during the sex scenes over the music. The music isn't as loud as it was in Malibu.
These are two great movies at a bargain price. Very recommended.

Women Behind Bars: Departate Della Sezione Speciale SS/Le Evanse - Le Storie di Sesso e di Violenze (1984) Review

Women Behind Bars: Departate Della Sezione Speciale SS/Le Evanse - Le Storie di Sesso e di Violenze (1984)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Usually when I get a double-feature exploitation film DVD it is from the wacky folks at Something Weird. That is not the case with this double-dose of 1970's Italian sexploitation films, which was my first sign that whatever might constitute the best of women in prison movies would not be found on this "Women Behind Bars" DVD. On the A side is "Deported Women of the SS Special Section" ("Le Deportate della sezione speciale SS") which offers not just women in prison, but women in a Nazi concentration camp. Not that what you see here looks anything like an actual Nazi concentration camp, but I suppose it is the thought that counts. This 1976 film is written and directed by Rino Di Silvestro ("Werewolf Woman"), who mixes and matches characters and plots to keep our attention beyond the nudity. We start with a train car full of women, who are brought to the concentration camp and inspected by the medical staff. This means they get to be naked, which is obviously a main goal of this film, but what I found interesting is that while a few women were shaved (and I do mean shaved), they were not any of the main characters. Talk about wanting to have your cake and eat it too, but this film periodically wants to be historically accurate. However, the women prisoners are watched over by women guards, and you know what that means in a prison movie. Then again, a room full of female prisoners promises the exact same thing.
Still, there are some interesting things happening in this film on. The male camp commandant, Herr Erner (John Steiner), not only gets a massage from his male orderly, but he wants one of the women prisoners, Tanya (Lina Polito), to love him because he knew her before she was captured. Tanya comes up with an interesting way of getting him that reminds me of a memorable scene in Ingmar Bergman's "Cries & Whispers." Since that film came out four years before this one, I would not be surprised if Silvestro saw it too (yes, I realize we might be the only two people on the earth to have seen both films). As a sexploitation film this one is rather depressing, with appropriately somber music, and a tacit acknowledgment that there is some history behind some of what we are seeing (e.g., the Nazis did force some female prisoners to be prostitutes for German troops). At one point we learn that the Germans are losing the war, but the idea of impending defeat does nothing to stop the atrocities, which I suppose can be seen as making them even worse, a minor accomplishment when you are talking about Nazis. Still, there are several interesting vignettes as Silvestro comes up with plausible vignettes for the sex in this one, although provoking thought would not seem to be an obvious goal for a sexploitation film (3 stars).
The B side offering is "Escape From Women's Prison" ("Le Storie di Sesso di Violenze") and it is from start to finish a boring movie that makes the movie on the A side look like classic cinema. Directed by Giovanni Brusadori, this 1978 has four females escaping from prison, so they are never behind bars, and going on the run. But when their getaway driver gets shot, the escapees take a bus filled of mostly women heading for a tennis tournament hostage. The attempt at an interesting twist is when one of the hostages inspires the prisoners to head for a castle owned by a judge. There the escapees argue about politics and fight with each other, find other uses for the women on the bus besides being hostages, and then negotiate with the police when they show up until we get to what passes as the climax of this film. The part where the judge insists that his personal needs be taken care of caught my interest for a moment, but things do not go well for him and any guy who is minutes away from getting his brains shot out should not be interesting in raping an unconscious women. This judge makes the Nazis look good, and that, of course, is not a good thing. The movie stars Lilli Carati as Monica Hadler, who rants about Communism now and then to suggest that their is actually something political behind the boring sexploitation (2 stars).
If this was a Something Weird DVD, then there would be all sorts of trailers, shorts, and assorted bonus features that would try to make up for the shortcomings of the features, but there is not and for that reason I round down on these two films having split the difference. I do not know if the films suffer from lousy transfers to DVD or if the original prints are this washed out, but then nobody watched sexploitation for the cinematography. If you have never seen a sexploitation film, this is not the DVD to introduce yourself to the genre. If you are into the genre then you should check out "Deported Women of the SS Special Section" and fight the urge to flip the disc and see what is on the other side.

Amazon Jail (1985) Review

Amazon Jail (1985)

Two years after "Bare Behind Bars" (1980), Oswaldo De Oliveira has totally lost his touch. This is the most insipidly boring movie I've watched in years. What could go wrong with a movie involving a white slavery ring operating in the Amazon jungle? Well for one, the women featured here are mostly unattractive. There is very little nudity. There is close to zero sex. There is no sleaze, filth or degradation within miles of this jail. There is practically no plot. The acting is lamentable. What you are left with is 90 minutes of utter boredom.
Amazon's website labels this as X-rated. It is NOT. "Bare Behind Bars" is X-rated. This pile of turd would be lucky to get even as high as an R rating. It hovers somewhere above a PG13 at most.
Blue Underground has as usual done a very creditable job of restoring the film. It looks as good as new. Actually it looks far better than this crap deserves. Blue Underground can't be faulted for its commitment to restoration. I just wish they were a bit more discriminating and exercised some taste in what they chose to restore. Don't waste your money on this loser. It's not even worth a rental. Amazon should have a zero-star rating to cater to turkeys like this.
