Forbidden Foot (2006) Review

A total waste of money. This video doesn't even deserve your time reading these lines. It's incredibly boring and not sexy at all. Be advised you will hardly see a foot in here, it's a total scam.

Dave's life is hopeless, pathetic, a vacuum of deep loneliness. But it has one purpose. The search for perfect feet. If a woman with a decent personality happens to be attached, even better. His social skills are awkward and maybe even frightening. But, that does not stop him from trying, again and again, to find the perfect feet.

All American Orgy Review

All American Orgy

It's a good movie, well written and acted, realistic situations and personalities, but so hard to sit through (and yet I did...) It was great to see the characters click through this difficult situation, but the difficult situation wasn't really fun to witness. For those who are wondering, there is very little sex, so if you're looking for cheesecake, go somewhere else : ) If what the writers were hoping to get across was that real orgies are a rare and unrealistic event, then I'd say they've done a great job. I liked it. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone who's trying to find a way to dissuade their partner from trying to set up an orgy.

Escape Clause (1997) Review

Escape Clause (1997)

Grabbed this one purely because I needed a Kate McNeil fix. Getting harder and harder to find her these days.
The poor early dialogue and overdone exposition made me think this is another cheesy cable drama, but once the story begins to unfold (and the dialogue lessens) it really rolls out into a darn good thriller. Many different suspects (the parents, the friend, the lover, the co-worker), lots of motives keep you guessing.
Its no frills, you won't have anywhere near the production value of Seven, Silence of the Lambs, or even Kiss the Girls. And try not to pay to much attention to Andrew McCarthy, or Paul Sorvino for that matter, as their minimalist approach to character will only distract you from the story.
Too bad this little script ultimately found itself in the low-budget land of straight-to-video. A little TLC and a few bucks could have paid big dividends here.
All in all a very pleasant surprise.
