Sex Education: Pesky Puberty DVD Review

This DVD is amazing simply for the irony value.
Remember those crazy sex education videos they showed you in high school. That's what these are.
The tracks get more and more ironic as they go on. What I did with the DVD was put it on in the background at a party and as we got more wasted we just could not stop watching it and cracking up.
I think the funniest is when they tell the girls not to kiss boys or they will get pregnant and have to quit school. We howled with laughter.
I could easily see these things played in the background at a hip club or something.

This DVD is a good reminder that while attitudes towards teenagers and sex have changed with the times, the cold hard facts of life and sex have stayed the same. No matter what age we live in, teenagers are going to go through some very confusing and embarrassing changes and adults are going to have to find a way to help them understand what is going on with their hormones and their bodies. All of the films on this DVD were shot around the 1950s and are remarkably straightforward. We often think of the 1950s as an era that was very conservative when it comes to sex, but these films make the case that when they had to be parents and teachers could be pretty direct on the subject. That isn't to say that some of the clips are not amusing when looked at through the lens of time. The opening clip starts out talking about white wedding dresses and then descends, for example, into a conversation about menstruation. That said, other clips on this disk pull no punches. It's definitely worth a look at all of the films as they are in very good condition.

Almost Illegal #1 (2008) Review

Almost Illegal #1 (2008)

I love tits and street fighting as much as the next guy but this just fell short. It's just an hour of 20 second clips. The girls were hot but over all the movie just wasn't worth watching. Ninety percent of the movie doesn't even have sound, it's just rap music playing threw the whole damn movie. The worst part was that the director tried to get artsy with it by using fish eye lenses, black and white scenes, slow motion, and rewind. It's hard to mess up something so simple but the managed to do it. They actually made tits and fighting unwatchable.

Female Masturbation Review

It's great. There are some awesome scenes in it. It looks like the real thing and not like the ladies are putting on a show for us. It's real like
they don't know we are watching.
Most of us guys would rather not see any other guys in a movie like this at all and there is that in the previews. But you can skip that when it starts by going to scene 4 on the DVD. There is a little more when they show short
scenes of what the ladies are thinking about. But it's short. It's a great
DVD.

Nice bargain softcore release from Peach entertainment features a nice roster of beautiful, stacked babes all performing stripteases.
All the girls are cute in this one,led by cover girl,Cassia Riley.
And no....she dosen't wear that sexy black dress in this film.
She does get a chance to strip while mopping a floor, though, and that's consolation enough!(I really liked her "oops" reaction when she tossed her mop away...i'm guessing she didn't expect it to make such a loud noise!).
Other favorites include Nikki Nova stripping out of a french maid outfit,Jelena Jensen in the tub,Anita Dark doing a pole dance and...all the girls deliver the goods.
Well done and inexpensive....have fun!

Fastlane - The Complete Series (2008) Review

Fastlane - The Complete Series (2008)
Average Reviews:

First let me say that I am a huge fan of Fastlane. I signed all the silly petitions to bring it back on air, to bring it to DVD, and so on. If I knew what they were going to do to the show for the DVD release, I would've kept my mouth shut.
First and foremost, the DVD release does not contain the same music as the aired series. Let that sink in.
So in the pilot episode, you aren't treated to The Vines, Limp Bizkit, and N.E.R.D. as you were on television, but rather some nameless hack band spouting generic platitudes about being "hip". This is ironic, considering the point of the show is to be bombastic and authentic. Instead we get the audio equivalent of "white socks and a Corolla," to quote the show. They don't even have the theme song for the opening credits.
Even worse, the DVD isn't widescreen. This would be fine if the show was originally aired fullscreen. But it was aired in widescreen. This is baffling. I get the music thing; it takes money to re-license tracks. But why not widescreen?
The show would get a 5-star rating, but the poor quality of the DVD is what gets 1 star. It's sad when the pirated version of the show that fans have been keeping on their hard drives for all these years is of superior quality to the trash I just paid money for. Get your act together, Warner Brothers.

Van Ray and Deaq Hayes are cops, but they don't carry badges. They're more likely to carry a case full of Benjamins. Everything they need to fight high-end criminals, they get from the Candy Store – the armory of toys and bling confiscated from busted crimelords and used to help the cops pass as legit criminals. From creators McG (the Charlie's Angels movies) and John McNamara (TV's The Fugitive) comes the undercover overdrive of Fastlane. Tiffani Thiessen plays the hip Candy Store overseer. Peter Facinelli and Bill Bellamy are Van and Deaq, who may have different 'tudes about movies, tunes and hotties but who agree that what's good is taking down the bad. Buckle up for their fast, 6-disc, 22-episode ride.

Fairies: Meet the Fairies Review

Fairies: Meet the Fairies

We received an advanced copy of this DVD to review and it was a HIT! My daughter is almost 6, and I have 2 boys, aged 1 and 4. Once my daughter saw what was in the mailer, she demanded we watch the show. The cover itself is just beautiful! We popped the DVD in and she was immediately excited about what she was seeing. It is a show with real actors and actresses singing songs and dancing. It is filled with magical fun and special surprises that keep kids engaged and interested. I love that it fosters my child's imagination and encourages them to "stay little" by living in a land of dreams and wonders for the brief time that they are watching the show. :)
Even though my oldest son said he liked it "just one thumb up", he could recite his favorite parts with no problem. haha My daughter loved a part about a baby fairy. She loves babies so that was right up her alley. I would definitely recommend this to any one with a daughter up to about age 6 or so. I will be playing this again when my daughter has some friends over and will probably let them dress up to be in on the fantasy land as well! This will be in regular rotation at my house! The songs are fun and the dances are cute....my daughter also loved that that fairies had Australian accents!
Overall, I'm very glad we had a chance to watch this and I know it won't be the last time! My daughter gave it a very enthusiastic 2 thumbs up. If your daughter loves fairies and has an imagination (or you want to help foster one!), don't hesitate to pick this DVD up! You will be so glad you did. At this price, it is a steal!

Barbie as The Island Princess Review

Barbie as The Island Princess

I once heard a definition of integrity as something you are when nobody's watching. I also once heard someone comment that there must be no honor among filmmakers because apparently nobody in a high-budget production cared that the movie made was terrible. Well, I have to say, this movie is yet another shining example of the Barbie movies' integrity.
They could get away with SO much--they don't NEED to put a plot or characters or even any kind of acting into this, honestly. BUT THEY DO. The reason I pick this movie out of the crop is that (a) it was just released, and (b) it's a great example of the integrity that is so lost among high-end studio productions these days. Why? Think--what movie is similar to this? Can you think of any parallels? Especially in the Disney array? It's a movie with striking similarities to the Little Mermaid.
BUT, instead of making the heroine a selfish brat and saving it with appealing sidekicks and great music, the characters themselves are likable (or hate-able) and they DON'T have to make the person trying to marry the prince a creepy person either. It's so great! The music, as in the Princess and the Pauper, is shockingly good; the animation and visuals just keep getting better and better; and the storytelling and character development are far above the par of the so-called "best" of Hollywood today.
If you have already started collecting the Barbie movies, get this one too. If not, start right now! Little girls and you(!) will ACTUALLY enjoy them together. This is a worthwhile movie to see, as are the other Barbie movies. Even the weakest of them (story-wise) is morally strong and is better quality than most Hollywood fare these days.
Enjoy this film integrity!
