Cheeky (Uncut) ( Trasgredire ) ( Transgressions ) Review

This movie was my initiation to the films of Tinto Brass. I rented it on a whim not knowing what to expect. In all fairness, I'd have to say that it is at least VERY erotic, and on the verge of softcore porn. Its fun and harmless though. The lead acress, Yuliya Mayarchuk, is very cute and likeable in this movie. The storyline is about what you might expect for the type of movie. While it is a little more in-depth than an X-rated movie, it still is a relatively lightly written premise. Definitely not intended for someone looking for a thought provoking or insightful movie.
But in any case, it is fun and not without its charms. Very sexy, enjoyable and light-hearted comedy with lots of nudity!! I recommend it.

Pandora Peaks / Finders Keepers, Lovers Weepers Review

Pandora Peaks / Finders Keepers, Lovers Weepers

Russ Meyer's "Pandora Peaks" gets a bad rap, but it is a fitting final film celebrating all the sexy things Meyer celebrated. While there is no story, there is wit and self-parody. "Pandora Peaks" is a remake or a redo of his wistful "Mondo Topless" in the 1960s complete with tape recorders. I don't share Meyer's predilections, but I find a lot of things to enjoy in his films and I find them in "Pandora Peaks".
Perhaps "Pandora Peaks" is his Warhol film. You can come and go as you please. Leave it playing and check it out as you go about your household chores.
"Finders Keepers Losers Weepers", which I had not seen before, is probably more conventional and straight than his official straight films, "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls" and "The Seven Minutes". Could have been better with humour, but still a good B grade thriller to pass the time away.

Ninja Vixens, Vol. 6 - Forbidden Paradise Review

Ninja Vixens, Vol. 6 - Forbidden Paradise
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Anyone expecting a great viewing experience from a movie with a title like "Ninja Vixens, Vol. 6 - Forbidden Paradise" really needs to examine their expectations. Take a look at the cover. That is what you are going to get.

In the long tradition of the Japanese "pink" film, this is the latest versions of the sexy fighting girl theme, women who seem to do far more bathing than combat, and know that a ninja's best weapon isn't necessarily her throwing stars. The only thing that really matters in a flick like this is the hope that the story isn't too bad, and that the chicks are hot.
Well rest assured. The story isn't too bad, and the chicks are hot. "Ninja Vixens" is actually a somewhat long-running series. I have only seen this one, but that didn't really matter. There isn't much by way of story continuity. This one tells the tale of woe of two ninja vixen sisters who rescue a handsome young samurai on the run. Well, there can be only one conclusion when two sisters fall in love with the same guy in a "Ninja Vixen" series, and it isn't fighting. Unfortunately, the demon hag Ogen shows up, and the gals have to take a break from their bathing to earn the ninja vixen name.
The ninja vixen trio is made up of Misaki Kanda, Mizuho Enomoto and Yuki Matsuda. Don't look for their prior acting experience, because that isn't why they were hired. Former race queens and models, they are all nicely pretty and bouncy in the right places, and emote only as a girl in a pink film should.
As a pink film, the nudity is all strictly T&A, and the sex scenes are all highly simulated. The "Ninja Vixens" series has more in common with the genre of 80's sex comedies, like Ski School and H.O.T.S., than rough Japanese flicks like Wife to Be Sacrificed and Flower & Snake. Take a look at the costumes, which are straight out of a bad 80's music video, and it will give you an idea of what to expect!

Kill the Scream Queen (2008) Review

Kill the Scream Queen (2008)
Average Reviews:

First, let me set you straight. I love horror from 1920's silents up to the down n' dirty sadistic slashers, gut-munching zombies, and so on. This film along with numerous others that have come along in the last ten years or so seem to delight in just tons of nudity(which I don't mind) and torture scenes with no story whatsoever(which is unforgivable)!!! I know that this is the same gripe Ebert gave to Friday the 13th., but those types of films at least tried to give an iota of suspense. These films just want to shock you as to how far they can go, and let the director's film their own sick adolescent desires.
All I can say is that there is some beautiful girls who take off almost eveything. That would be the only draw because there is really no gore(some fake amateur blood) and I do not get off on rape. Some plot about luring girls to a snuff film audition was incredibly stupid. What girl is going to audition for a snuff film?
I really can't say anything else about this incredibly steaming pile of s***!!! I know this review will incite others to curiosity, but there is nothing here. The only people who could enjoy this type of "horror" is very disturbed teens with dysfunctional family lives.

Once again, the prolific french director, Jean Rollin, provides the bored horror film market with a true classic. Fascination is a bizarre foray into the twisted realm of two women who seek to entice unwary men into their devilish world of evil. As with all Rollin films, Fascsination is ripe with symbolism and grotesque imagery which puts most current horror films to shame. For those of us who have seen way too many horror films, Rollin's Fascination will renew our faith in the genrea-check it out.

Legendary horror director Jean Rollin presents "Fascination," his "homage to vampirism." This film is filled with visual delights, sensual lesbian lovemaking, a group of castle-dwelling bourgeois women blood-drinkers and the beautiful Brigitte Lahaie as a scythe-wielding avenger. Two women chosen by the group must find a man that they can slaughter and communally consume in a cannibalistic vampire feast.

Dance a GoGo : Sexy Nightclub Workout Review

Dance a GoGo : Sexy Nightclub Workout
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have bought so many workout DVDs, and this is by far THE BEST I have ever bought because it has EVERYTHING a workout video needs. It has step-by-step instructions for each of the workouts. The dance music is hip and great. The dances are sexy and fun. In addition, the workouts here require you to move ALL OF YOUR BODY and keep your heart rate at the target zone AT ALL TIME!! You can tell that they actually spent a lot of time choreographing the dances and making this DVD. Everything is done by the very professionals instead of just some sexy/party girls dancing together in a basement. I am sure that many of you who have bought many workout videos will know what I am talking about. Most of the weight loss workouts are not fun or sexy, and most of the sexy workouts won't speed up your heart rate enough to lose weight. If you want a dance workout DVD with everything: that is fun, hip, and sexy; has nice music; teaches you how to dance; and helps you lose weight; this is the number one DVD that I will recommend. I think Andrea needs to put out more dance/workout DVDs.

In 3 DVDs , for a very good price, you can watch the complete series of Playboy Wet & Wild : 10 titles, some unavailable, from 1989 to 2002.
These titles, in my opinion, are among the best of Playboy (a must for PB collectors): the playmates, as usual, are gorgeous, but there is a richness of cheerfulness, innocence, joie de vivre, lacking in more recent Playboy productions.

Dance a Gogo: Sexy Nightclub Workout Series (2010) Review

Dance a Gogo: Sexy Nightclub Workout Series (2010)
Average Reviews:

This is a box set of the music video dance workout, latin groove dance workout, and nightclub fun workout. There is a section where each dance section is broken down at half pace, then double pace, then all the dance parts are put together. There is no instruction of how to do the moves, so you will probably flail around a little ridiculously until you can get the moves down. It will depend on how familiar you are with dance. My advice is just keep going until you get it. Everything takes practice to get good. The actual workout time is pretty short, I like to do it on a day I am going to do something else too. I'm not sorry I bought this box set, but it probably won't be my favorite workout. I do love to dance, and this is a good way to learn a new style of dancing.

Lady Ninja Review

Lady Ninja
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I'd like to start by saying that Lady Ninja, also known as Kunoichi, was a decent film for it's genre.
This film is actually based on a series of Ninja stories from Japan and is way down on the list in the order. However it is it's own film and can be viewed as an individual story. The story centers around 7 Kunoichi (female ninja in Japanese) who under the supervision of Jyubei Yagyuu (a samurai)try to get revenge for their slain buddist nun sisters. The nuns are ruthlessly killed by a Japanese Lord who enjoys the company of women a little too much. In fact he has a habbit of kiddnapping brides on their wedding nights and keeping them for his own little private harem.
Throughout the film the 7 ninja battle against the Lords Henchmen. Some of whom have magical capabilities. (such as pulling eyes out which become one eyed assasins and another who can poison you by touching you) The Kunoichi also have some tricks up their sleves which the girls learn to unlock during the film. There are several confrontations throughout the film where the ninjas kill the henchmen one by one. Also, some of the girls don't make it to the end. I won't say anymore, so as not to spoil it for you.
The lead ninja is played by Yuko Moriyama. She is the one who really shines in this film with her strong screen presence and solid performace. The film does offer some B movie special effects which come across well in the film, and a cartoonish ammount of gore. I will point out however, that this is in NO way a child's film. The situations and violence would not be appropriate for kids. Also, a couple of the ninja women use strange attacks (one with her breasts and another with her hind end) The action is fast and uses a lot of wire work. Not many grounded swordplay or martial arts sequences though. The film has a very fantstical aire about it, more like Jet Li's Legend of the Swordsmen or Swordsmen II.
The release company on this film is Tokyo Shock, and they offer both the original Japanese language track, and an English dubbed track. (which is pretty much garbage) Tokyo Shock has a ways to go in their dubbing department. Other features include some interviews with cast and crew in Japanese (subtitled in English) and the film trailer.
This film may not be in everyone's taste, so if you're a Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon fan, this may be a littel over the top for you. However, it does have some nice cinematography, some nice surprises in the special effects department, and lots of cute ninja girls running around so it got a 3 in my book.
This is definately a rent it before you buy it film. I did buy it before renting, and plan to watch it occasionally, but it's not going to be frequently played in my DVD player. It's not that kind of film.

This rating is not for the movie which is good and every bit what the other reviewers have noted. My beef is with the DVD which is 85 minutes and even shorter than the VHS version which is 92 minutes. Can someone tell me why? If anything, the director's cut should have been produced on DVD. What a disappointment!

Like It Is (1998) Review

Like It Is (1998)

Much better than expected, it was. Steve Bell turned in a terrific performance as the bare-knuckle street fighter who tries to turn is life around for the better once he meets an openly gay music producer (handsome Ian Rose). It amazes me when straight actors give such top-notch performances as gay characters (Get Real, Beautiful Thing, ect) and Bell's performance is right up there. I was expecting a two-second cameo by Roger Daltrey, however, he plays a strong role in the film as the aging, rich bitchy queen of yore - he was excellent and had few zingers in his scenes. Theme wise, this film is optimistic and engaging. There's a subplot involving the creation of a '90's boy band that is just too precious - they can't dance, who knows if they can really sing and their music is very Euro-disco and teeny-bopper oriented. The lead singer of this group comes between Bell and Rose at one point in the story - could you imagine the British tabloid press getting a hold of that factoid? Director Paul Oremland gives us a film as earnest and romantic as he intends to give (the character of fighter Bell was inspired by his own experience as he explains in the DVD's featurette) and I look forward to his next projects. As for the DVD: the picture is letterboxed to 1.66:1. The video is much crisper and clearer than I was expecting - it looks very good. The sound is clean and audible. Music sequences give quite a punch and there is no background hiss to be heard. Colors are stable and natural, but I really liked the scenes in the nightclubs which were fairly vibrant without "bleeding" or "smearing". There is also an original trailer that is incorporated into the informative featurette. I especially liked the ending of the film which wisely avoids the Hollywood-ish all's well that ends well bug. Overall, recommended but try to get the DVD version of this film - the quality is pretty darn good.

Director Paul Oremland's witty, fast-paced love takes us into the gay nightclubs and pop music scenes of London where Matt (Ian Rose), a young, ultra-cool record producer visiting Blackpool, meets Craig (Steve Bell), a young northern lad who makes money from illegal bare-knuckle fights and is struggling with his sexual identity. The two have a brief and clumsy sexual encounter that becomes a liaison which changes both of their lives. As they try to form a lasting relationship amongst all the pretense of London nightlife, Matt's bitchy boss Kelvin (Roger Daltrey), and his flatmate and biggest star, Paula (Dani Behr), try their best to keep them from living happily every after. LIKE IT IS takes a candid look at "Cool Britannia"--London's cutting-edge club culture--with exuberance, and offers an enjoyable and positive look of gay life rarely seen in films. In 1998, LIKE IT IS played to sold out festival crowds, rave reviews and smash openings in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Miami and other US cities. "Studded with good performances" (The Advocate) by actors Ian Rose and Steve Bell--who has been called "an amazing talent--clearly gorgeous, with marvelously expressive eyes, a chiseled body, powerful charisma" (Bay Area Reporter)-- and the legendary Roger Daltrey of The Who who is "appealingly devilish" (NY Times), as well as British pop star Dani Behr as pouty, spoiled diva.

What a waist of time and a really cool spike costume. Who is it that thinks this is a good movie ? The only way you could write up a good review for this junk is if you worked on the movie, other wise I just call B.S. on any review higher then 2 stars. This is one of those "Monster" movies that is better left in the shadows and not in the light as you can plainly see this lame actor is wearing a costume with no make up. Why would you use a bright light in every other scene to light up every flaw in the costume and not use a little make up to blend it all in ? It really is worth seeing just so you can point and mock at the sad final cut. If your are not into seeing poor film making, bad acting and shoddy story telling stay away from this mess.

Female Yakuza Tale - Inquisition and Torture (2005) Review

Female Yakuza Tale - Inquisition and Torture (2005)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Directed by seasoned veteran of Japanese exploitation cinema Teruo ISHII, FEMALE YAKUZA TALE - INQUISITION AND TORTURE is the unrelated sequel to SEX AND FURY (also available on amazon), again starring beautiful and very sexy Reiko IKE as tough as nails female gambler Ocho. Set in Kobe ca. 1920, the story with various fractions of yakuza, revenge and double - crossing is a bit too overconvoluted for its own good. To cut a long story short, let`s just say you can expects LOTS of nudity, sex, violence and sleaze. Some examples of what you can expect here: there are some nasty yakuza who force women to smuggle drugs in their private parts (!) As incentive the poor drug addicted gals get their fix injected in their naked breasts (!) In one particularly sleazy scene our heroine is engaged in a card game with mean yakuza mobster Big Tiger, who foolishly accuses her of cheating and insists that Ocho strips naked (!) to prove she did not hide cards. On the condition that he cuts off some of his fingers in time honoured yakuza-tradition, should he be proven wrong, she drops her clothes (in the process clandestinely disposing of an incriminating card). Now it's time of the unfortunate yakuza to cut off his fingers, but his girl comes to his rescue and asks Ocho for a favour "from woman to woman": Making an obscene gesture with her hand, she begs Ocho to spare Big Tiger's middle finger. It's up to the viewer's dirty imagination, why she asks his finger be spared...
The showdown, involving sword- and gunplay, explosions, blood geysirs and about two dozen naked girls (!) is particularly over the top. As if this was not enough there is some downright silly slapstick and funny dialogue ("trashy boss" being my favorite) thrown in for good measure.
When all is said and done, FEMALE YAKUZA TALE - INQUISITION AND TORTURE is surely a pleasureable and entertaining way to spend an evening. The film is well-shot with stunning cinematography. Reiko IKE is great. However, I found the film still a bit disappointing. The story is convoluted and over blown. Personally, I found SEX AND FURY a far better film. Sure, there is more sex and violence in INQUISITION (though there is not a shortage of it in SEX AND FURY either), but SEX AND FURY has a better story and is overall a far more rewarding viewing experience.
Technically the DVD is great. The film is presented in its original widescreen aspect ratio, colours are nice and the print is pristine. There are also several interesting extra features. First of all the excellent trailer. Then there are picture galleries of promotional art and stills from the film. There are also excellently written production notes and bio- and filmographies of director Terou ISHII and star Reiko IKE.

Female Yakuza Tale - Inquisition And Torture is an anarchistic apex in the career of Japanese cult director, Teruo Ishii, whose fifty year resume includes Horror of Malformed Men and Blind Beast Vs. Notoriously lacking restraint, sexy 'pinky violence' star, Reiko Ike, returns in this gonzo sequel to Sex & Fury following the further exploits of Ocho, a thief and gambler running afoul of evil yakuza in Meiji Era Tokyo. Independent filmmaker Gregg Araki takes an everday look at several gay and lesbian teenagers (4 gay boys and a very cute baby dyke couple ) whose friendship provide a '90s-style family unit. This flick mixes together a head spinning/heart wrenching combination of queer teen angst, homophobia, AIDS, suicide, love and hope..
I really liked the parts where the the kids were just "talking" to the camera about issues and their feelings. It was so bitterly honest I just couldnt believe it. Very unusual, and touchingly rad. BRAVO! As you may remember, everday life for any teenager means crisis, loneliness, rebellion, and the search for love. Growing up gay adds another dimension to the angst and turmoil of teen life. This flick shares a rare, honest look at teenagers. They arent made out to be Clueless or given a Hollywood "treatment" to make them more glittery and sellable. This film will shock you, make you laugh and most likely make you remember the pain and desperation of being that 'alien' boy or girl who just didnt seem to fit in with barbie and ken..

Homework (1982) Review

Homework (1982)
Average Reviews:

The American teenage male...are they all preoccupied with copulation? The short answer is yes...I remember in my formative years it was all I could do to get through the day without thinking about all the females I wanted to bag, be they classmates, teachers, the lunch lady, the cheerleading squad, my friend's mother (every guy had a friend who had the `hot' mom), the girl at the arcade, etc. I would have forsaken much (including food, water, and even air) to quell the raging hormones that brewed within...Homework, produced and directed by James Beshears, his only film as his later career consists mainly of sound work on films, stars Joan Collins (Empire of the Ants) and Michael Morgan, who mainly appeared in bit parts on television throughout the 70's and early 80's on shows like Hawaii Five-O, Emergency!, and ChiPs, to name a few. Also appearing is Carrie Snodgress (The Attic), Wings Hauser (Beastmaster 2: Through the Portal of Time), and actress turned director Betty Thomas (Hill Street Blues)...don't blink, or you'll miss her role as secretary to a rock star...nice cleavage Betty...
The film begins like your garden-variety teen sex romp, two high school guys smoking a J (that's slang for a doobie, in case you're wondering) in the locker room, sneaking peeks into the girl's locker room, but then sort of veers off into odd, yet interesting directions. We spend a bit of time with Tommy (Morgan), a good-looking, blonde haired high school kid with a serious problem...he's not getting any, especially since his girlfriend (whose mother is played by Collins) is so preoccupied with making the swim team she spends nearly every possible moment in the pool. But this doesn't seem to bother him as much as the perception that everyone else around him is, so much so it's causing his grades to slip, so he visits the school psychiatrist (Snodgrass) and she recommends he channel his energies expended on thinking about what he's not getting into a creative outlet, to which he decides to create a rock band, enlisting a few of his friends and acquaintances from school. From here we sort of wander between various characters, the friend lusting after the new French Teacher, the girl infatuated with the local, ultimately sleazy, rock star (played by Hauser), and so on...eventually Tommy does get the `education' he desires, and from the least likely place (at least to him, but not to us as the advertising for this film tended to focus mainly on the whole younger man/older woman theme, on that obviously involved Ms. Collins).
I was slightly surprised at how this film played out (I'd seen it many years past on cable, but only had vague recollections of it). It's promoted heavily on the physical relationship aspect between Tommy and Diana (his girlfriend's mother), but that is such a short scene near the end (both actors were obviously portrayed by body doubles once the nekkidness begins, as we see neither of the actors' faces during the brief tryst, and the body double for Ms. Collins has a much better body than she did pushing 50, and the body double for Tommy exhibited way to much chest hair). There was plenty of T (not a lot of A) throughout the film, none by Ms. Collins as she was past the point of showing off her body as much as she did in The Stud (1978), or the follow up The B*tch (1979). As the film highlighted on certain characters, we're presented with what's essentially the equivalent of a string of After School Specials (popular in the late 70's and early 80's) vignettes (VD, over protective parents, obsessive/compulsive behavior, trying to find ones' identity) tied together by some rather loose threads. Despite the juvenile aspects present throughout, the writing was somewhat intelligent and tended not to make the characters appear as stupid or hollow as expected from films within the genre, but rather provided a `humanizing', almost realistic quality much like that in a similar film released the same year, The Last American Virgin. The one aspect of this film that annoyed me was the flashbacks by Ms. Collins character, as she tries to recall how it was when she was her daughter's age. These were pretty clunky (especially the retro 50's rock music...couldn't they have popped for a few actual songs from the period?) and tended to disrupt the already choppy flow of the film. The biggest weakness of the film, in my opinion, lies within its' inability to sink its' teeth into any one area, rather glossing over a variety of different topics. If this were a straight up, erotic comedy (as it seems to have been promoted), I would certainly be a lot less critical, but the film tries to be more than that, combining a number of different elements, but rarely linking them together cohesively, or giving them the attention they deserve. Also, the meager payoff certainly wasn't worth the buildup that took place through much of the film, and probably caused many a viewer to feel a little shortchanged. Ultimately, the film isn't as bad as some would make it out to be, but then again it isn't all that great. If you're looking for something a bit juicier, I would recommend My Tutor (1983), Private Lessons (1981), or even Mischief (1985). If you're looking for something more substantial, check out The Last American Virgin (1982).
The widescreen print on this DVD looks decent, but does suffer from very minor signs of aging (the occasion vertical line, white speckling). The audio came across very well and understandable. Special features include an interview with the executive producer Max Rosenberg (he, along with Milton Subotsky, formed Amicus Productions in the early 60's, a chief rival to Hammer Films), along with a trailer for this film, and one each for May Morning (1970), and another for a film called Quackser Fortune Has a Cousin in the Bronx (1970), starring Gene Wilder.

This film was done in 1995 so of course the hair dos are a bit dated. But for one low price to get 3 decent fun sexy films on one disk I think it's a great deal. This combo DVD is also a great gift to give to an older friend, aunt or grandma who likes reading harlequin tyes of books, but who you'd never give an explicit adult film to (I'm over 45, so I think someone 20 something wouldn't care for this). The stories are classic fantasy and the videography is professional and decently done. Again the value is really a good one, there is over 200 minutes on this disk. An entertaining collection to sit and watch with a glass of wine.

The VoyeurAdapted from Lonnie Barbach s Erotic Edge. This erotic film is lush, sensuous, and full of exciting ideas to set off sparks in any relationship. When their 10-year marriage begins to stale, Brenda (Kim Dawson) and James (Al Sapienza) rekindle their desires by sharing their innermost fantasies. While away at a weekend in the Napa Valley wine country, James reveals his ultimate fantasy to observe Brenda making love to another man and their passion reaches all new heights.Cabin Fever: Adapted from Valerie Kelly's "Berlioz and the Ghetto Blaster" in Lonnie Barbach's book Erotic Interlude. She was a long way from anywhere. Then he arrived. An attractive, middle-aged artist. Belinda Farrell (Midnight Caller), works in quiet seclusion at her cabin retreat until the noisy arrival of a young handyman, Judd Dunning (Poetic Justice), on his motorcycle. Handsome, strong and virile, the bare-chested young man works at gardening and carpentry ... and patiently softens the defenses of the solitary woman. At first she's withdrawn and disapproving, but soon her own dormant hungers awaken, and the two are inexorably drawn to a passionate union. The Hottest BidJessica (Gwen Somers) is a jaded but successful attorney who attends a charity bachelor auction andmakes a statementabout men by paying top dollar for a date with a pet dog. Unpredictably her plan backfires when she falls in love (and in bed) with the dog s attractive owner and auction organizer Don (Dennis Mathews) who is having an affair with Meera (Lenore Andriel). Upset and disappointed, Jessica turns to lawyer friend, Marty (Tracy Miller) but he already has his hands full dealing with Angelique (Belinda Ferrell), who purchased him at the same auction.Filled with sensual encounters, this film is smart, humorous and sophisticated.
